I wanted to draw Chun li for quite a time, but I didn't feel confident enough to portray her as I wanted.
And that way is less focused in sexiness and more about beauty and class.
Unlike more recent female characters, Chun li is quite elegant, despite her strong lower build. And I wanted to show that.
Done With SAI, 6 hours
Do I really need to say she belongs to Capcom? With all those crossovers, it should be quite clear already.

I think you did a very good job in portraying her the way she is supposed to be. my only complaint is that her face maybe would have looked better if it looked more chinese. Other than that, fantastic job

You have the right idea about Chun's beauty and class, rather than overt sexiness.

I like this art except I think her leg muscles are excessive. Chun is among the quickest, most agile, and flexible characters in the series. Muscles are needed for speed and flexibility, but excessive muscles work against that.

Chun li is known for her overzised legs. It was hard for me drawing like this, but I wanted to respect that aspect of this great character.
